DLF will be demonstrating its range of digital advice services at NCAS 2018 including AskSARA its online self-assessment tool which allows older and disabled people and their carers to produce personal reports about suitable products for daily living. Offering over 90 practical topics and including over 10,000 products from almost a thousand suppliers, AskSARA is licensed by a range of organisations.

At NCAS 2018 we will be showcasing our collaboration with EAC.

Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC) is a national charity, providing advice and information on housing and care options to older people and their families since 1985. EAC maintain a national database of 25,000 retirement housing developments, 12,000 care homes and 10,000 home services for older people on their HousingCare.org website.

Beyond this, EAC have developed the Housing Options for Older People (HOOP) self-help tool. This information resource encourages users to think about their home and how they live in it. The tool makes suggestions, based on local knowledge, to help the user improve any issues that have been identified. Users are also given information on local services, retirement accommodation and useful further reading. HOOP is licensed by a number of local authorities to deliver advice on housing options.
